✨ I am Elva Yawen Si, an instructional designer who crafts engaging and effective learning experiences. I came from a background of psychology, media studies, and technology innovation. My expertise lies in conducting needs assessments, developing multimedia assets, managing competing projects, developing targeted learning materials, and implementing innovative instructional strategies. My strengths are identifying user pain points, creative problem-solving and improvement, storytelling, managing collaborative cross-functional teams, and fostering psychologically safe communities. ​

I used to help companies and organizations infuse learning design pedagogies, cognitive psychology, and human-centered design into practical applications.
 
🎓 I hold a Master of Education in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Psychology and Human Development, from Tufts University. I graduated with the Highest Honors in Thesis and was awarded Dean’s List honors.
